今週、当ブログでは、英検準１級のライティングについて、色々と述べてきました。今日はそのまとめとして、英検準１級ライティングのサンプルエッセイを挙げたいと思います。

I think that the number of public servants should be reduced. I have two reasons to support my opinion.
First, cost can be cut by reducing the number of public servants. Thanks to this, the nation’s financial deficit will decrease. Then, the citizens’ tax burden can be lightened, which will make their lives easier. Therefore, the number of public servants should be reduced.
Second, the population of Japan has been decreasing. This is because Japan has been an aging society with a declining birth rate over the past few decades. It is expected that this trend will continue at least for a while. Then, we won’t need so many public servants in the future.
For the reasons mentioned above, I believe that the number of public servants should be reduced.

私は、公務員の数を減らすべきだと思います。私の意見を支える理由が２つあります。
第一に、公務員の数を減らすことで、費用を削減できます。このおかげで、国家の財政赤字は減るでしょう。そうなると、国民の税負担を軽減でき、生活が楽になります。だから、公務員の数を減らすべきです。
第二に、日本の人口は減少しています。これは、日本がここ数十年間、少子高齢化社会だからです。この傾向は少なくともしばらくの間、続くことが見込まれます。そうなると、我々はそれほど多くの公務員が要らなくなります。
上記で述べた理由から、私は公務員の数を減らすべきだと思います。
